Indications

Curcumin has very low bioavailability, mainly due to its rapid glucuronidation. Protection of curcumin from this metabolic conversion can be achieved to improve its bioavailability. Black pepper is an intestinal and hepatic inhibitor of glucuronidation, and its concomitant administration increases the bioavailability of curcumin by 11 times.
