Krauterhof's Original Pferde Balsam (also known as Horse Balsam) is a balm that activates blood circulation and warms tired and sore skin after physical or muscular exertion.
It is recommended to warm up and provide a feeling of relief and comfort in muscle areas immediately after work, sports training, intense physical activities, long periods of driving, dancing or other work or recreational activities.
Indicated whenever relief from pain and/or muscle tension is necessary.
Warming muscle balm with valuable plant extracts and oils such as red vine leaves, horse chestnut seeds, chamomile flowers, lemon balm leaves, yarrow, hop cones, valerian rhizome and root, fennel seeds, camphor, silica and lactic acid.

The Cold Effect contains menthol, camphor and peppermint essential oil, which have a refreshing and analgesic effect. It helps to reduce inflammation and relieve acute pain. Ideal after a day of physical exertion or if there are signs of swelling or active inflammation. The Hot Effect contains (valinyl butyl ether) (a warming substance), chamomile, valerian and relaxing herbal extracts. It stimulates blood circulation, relaxes muscles and reduces stiffness. The best option for chronic pain and to apply before bed, as it helps with muscle relaxation. If the pain is more inflammatory and intense, the cold effect may be better. If you feel stiffness, muscle tension and nighttime discomfort, the hot effect will be more effective for relaxation.
